Patricia Rodwell is a much celebrated figurative and portrait photographer. She was voted runner up in the Geographical Photographer of the Year award 2002, The Daily Telegraph have used her images for publications and amongst her many commissions, her most exciting was for the Royal Artillery to cover an 'all fires' exercise in the wilds of Scotland.

Private

Although Patricia has a home studio based in Fulham, she is more than happy to travel to you, or an inspirational place best suited to the thought behind your portrait.

The minimum time for a shoot is 2 hours depending on how dynamic you would like the pictures to be. If props and more artistry are needed then allow possibly the whole day! Her direction throughout the shoot leaves you, your children and your dogs with a new found confidence and a real sense of fun. Music, snacks and toys for the children are provided.

If you would prefer, Patricia can also digitally enhance any particular portrait you like *. She can make your portrait look painterly – softening skin tones, hiding blemishes, airbrushing wrinkles etc. She will not go as far as making you look like a magazine cover but will certainly give you a youthful glow. Cost: £275.00 plus travel.

* Any enhancement on particular portraits chosen by the client is charged at £50.00 per image.

Printing on mediums such as Lambda, Flex, Giclee, Canvas or Diasec (please ask for details!) can be arranged as well as standard mounting and framing.

Commercial

Patricia has extensive experience working with PR agencies and Marketing companies, working within strict budgetary guidelines to creative briefs. She shoots in RAW and in turn the images are converted to JPEGs. Each image (between 10- 12MB) is saved to 350dpi for extra clarity for use in printed matter.

Although she has a home studio, it can also be transported to wherever she needs to be. For larger studio shoots utilizing a number of models and props, studios may be rented in Fulham, SW6 at extra cost.

Patricia and her Creative Assistant, Dhala Campbell, work well together as a team to make sure the day runs smoothly with no hiccups or time wasting. A make up artist and hair stylist can also be on hand.

Still life images are an area of expertise for Patricia and she often receives commissions from clients who need individual product shots for retail websites.

Exhibition

In October 2009, Patricia was invited by Lansdowne Rodway Ltd to show her work at Croome Court , a National Trust property situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. Although Patricias main focus is commissioned work, she has now ventured into Fine Art Photography. The show at Croome was a sell out, quite rare for a first time exhibitor!
